Good news 2007 graduates… more jobs… more money…
Should be a good year for this year’s graduating class… David Ellis at CNN Money writes that employees will offer 17.4% more jobs to this years graduating class compared to last year – and the average salary should be 4.6% higher. Not bad at all…
Some other factoids:
- The highest increase in pay goes to mechanical and chemical engineers with a 7% increase from last year
- Accounting majors pull in an average salary of $46.5k
- still no love for liberal arts majors – avg salary of $30.5k which is down 1.1% from last year
