Interesting tip … but are red roses what people want? We’ve had an interesting debate in our office and openly online: http://www.richmond.com/guides/valentines-day-guide/florists/23467

I don’t think the problem is red roses on Valentine’s Day. I think its your flower behavior on every other holiday. I don’t think Roses work on any other holiday/event/occasion but Valentines day. Look at some more interesting flowers, which is what I usually do, to keep her guessing and on her toes. Otherwise, you’ll end up like the girl in the story. Roses are beautiful, I think that they are the perfect touch with that someone special on Valentine’s day. But if you’re coming home from the grocery store or saying ’sorry’, fight the urge to get the rose. Thats my 2 cents.

This company http://www.TheFlowerBakery.com offers flower arrangements derived in unique elegant boxes via FedEx. They emailed me a coupon for 5% of my next order (code VAl85). Don’t wait for the last minute…
