You can make this same argument for anything. By this logic I shouldn’t enjoy my life at all, I should just hoard every penny I have until I turn 65, at which case I can be sitting on a huge mound of cash. So don’t buy a TV, or consume anything ‘frivolous’. People like the iPhone because it makes that LIFE better and connects them with their friends. Oh and our economy is consumer-based, so if America followed this advice the economy would crash and the 401k with it… probably some Apple stock in there, if you have a good fund… the stock has tripled in the past year or so.
