Welcome ALEX BOUSQUET to the Geezeo team as a member of our Support Staff!

alex.jpg

Alex is a Business and Technology major at the University of Connecticut in West Hartford, CT. He has strong customer service and excellent computing skills. Alex comes to Geezeo with more than two years of customer service experience, PHP, HTML, and CSS programming experience, and experience in working as a team via customer service and retail.

In his free time he likes to swim, go on road trips, and hang out with his girlfriend and friends.

Alex’s most recent post in Geezeo was in the group he created “If you had a million dollars…” He writes:

I would donate $100,000 to a charity of some sort. I’d pay off my debts. I’d go on a long vacation (2 weeks or so). Then, I would invest the rest, save about $100,000 for play money.

Seems like there is a lot of playing to do with $100,000 – I like the way you think, Alex!!

If you have any questions for Alex, or the rest of the Geezeo Support Staff, you can find us in our Live Chat :)

Hey there! My name is Katie McCaskey. I’m Geezeo’s new Content Strategy Director, in charge of the written and visual content on this site. I’ll be functioning as editor/designer/animator/writer/and strategist. Here’s my profile!

I can’t tell you ALL the cool things we’ve got coming at you… that would spoil the fun, wouldn’t it?

But let me tell you this: there are a lot of changes underway. Be here and you’ll have front-row tickets and access to the Green Room.

Please take the time to drop me a line and tell me your thoughts about our site. But since you’d probably like to know a little more about me first, here are some quick facts:

During the go-go nineties I worked as a multimedia designer at Sony Pictures. Favorite celebrity encounter? Tom Hanks held the door open for me. Thanks, Tom! Worst celebrity encounter? The time Kevin Costner caught me stealing food from his fridge…

As an entrepreneur/artist I’ve created a line of t-shirts, produced a cartoon, and worked as a freelance artist in Los Angeles and New York.

I live in Manhattan with my boyfriend, Brian. He’s 85, is filthy rich, and has a failing heart. (Kidding!). But this isn’t about him, is it? Let me tell you this: I’ve never been a “number person”. One day I plotted revenge. I decided to learn all I can about finance. And you know what? It’s been a very worthwhile journey. I recommend it.

So what’s my interest in personal finance? Isn’t money management about as exciting as wallpaper paste?

Not when you consider that:

A) We vote with every dollar we spend
B) How we manage our dollars affects how we experience life
C) Getting a grip on your finances can produce positive personal and social changes

What’s your reason for charting your finances? Let’s chat.
